The Cimarron Golf Resort is perfect for a quiet getaway. It’s a small resort in the desert that offers comfortable accommodations, golf, and an outdoor hot tub and pool.

Rooms are air conditioned and basic amenities include ceiling fans, individual thermostat control, and full bath. Bed sizes range from double to king depending on the room, and some rooms have a balcony or patio. Rooms equipped with sleeper sofas can sleep up to six people which is the maximum occupancy.

While the rooms are nothing fancy, they do feature a fully equipped kitchen. Not only do they provide basics like a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator, but these kitchens have just about anything you need to make yourself at home.

Whether you’re looking for a blender to whip up a frozen drink, or want to make a meal, you’ll find the cooking utensils you need and a dishwasher to help with the cleanup.

Both of the courses at the Cimarron Golf Resort are of championship caliber with spectacular fairways nestled against the backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains.

Both of these world-class courses were designed by renowned Scottsdale architect John Fought, with features like white sand-filled bunkers designed with jagged edges and flat tongues.

  • Boulder Course: 18-hole championship course (Par 71)
  • Pebble Course: An 18 hole executive course. (par 56)

While golfing at the Cimarron Golf Resort is a highlight, the area boasts plenty of other activities, too. Hot air ballooning is a favorite for visitors to take in the desert landscape.

Bike and hiking trails are perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, and bike rentals are available so you don’t have to lug your bikes with you, if you don’t want to. In the winter months, skiing is also popular. It’s an ideal destination for those in search of peace and quiet.
