Golfsmith Coming to Myrtle Beach

March 6, 2013 by

A new mega golf store by the name of Golfsmith is coming soon to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Last summer, Golfsmith joined Golf Town to form Golfsmith International. They are now the largest golf-only retailer in the world, and currently have almost 150 stores in operation in the U.S. and Canada.

Their mission is to “help golfers love the game even more.” If all goes according to plan, the Myrtle Beach store should open this summer.

Improve Your Golf Game

Golfsmith stores feature putting greens, driving ranges and digital swing analysis equipment. Tee boxes equipped with monitors and sensors can analyze swing mechanics and provide information to help improve your game.

Golfsmith’s knowledgeable staff understands the mechanics, the love of the game, and how to accessorize. They carry a wide range of styles ¬†perfect for the green, such as Under Armour, polo tops, slacks and sweater vests, and a big selection of golf shoes.

Custom Fit Clubs

Golfsmith is the place to go if you’re looking to custom fit your clubs to your game. They offer three different ways to customize your fit.

The Smart Fit takes 15-30 minutes and is provided as a free service. Golfsmith professionals use state-of-the-art monitors to identify clubs best suited for your game.

The Advanced Smart Fit and golfTec personal club fittings take longer and are available for a fee, but custom fitting comes with a guarantee. “If you don’t play better with your custom fit club, bring it back within 30 days for a full in-store credit.”

The new Myrtle Beach Golfsmith store will be located across from the Costco and Best Buy on Forest Lane.

If you don’t want to wait, consider ordering one of their free color catalogs to browse the latest in hot gear, newest clubs, apparel and other accessories.
