25hours Hotel Hamburg, Germany

25hours Hotel Hamburg is just like a seaman’s home in a foreign harbor.

The guest-bunks at 25hours Hotel HafenCity are made to be warm and cozy. Elements and materials from the shipbuilding industry are interpreted with a little flash, and spun together with some seaman’s yarns; 25 mariners from across the globe tell their true stories of treacherous passages, idealistic encounters, wild storms and agonizing farewells. The rooms’ trimmings and objects capture the adventures, which are told in complete length in each of the lodge’s logbooks.

The guest rooms at 25hours Hotel HafenCity are relaxing retreats in numerous warm color combinations. 25 real and invented seafarers added their stories of rare customs and far-away destinations to the plan of the rooms and motivated the graphical wallpaper illustrations. Guests can read each story in the room’s logbook. Also in every room guests will find a pilot ladder from floor to ceiling and a custom made transoceanic trunk with everything you need in a cabin.

25hours offers: M-Cabin, M-Cabin+, Bunk Bed-Cabin, L-Cabin, and Captain’s Cabin. The sufficient Captain’s Quarters offer 43-53 square meters of nautical design and superfluous comfort. Each room comes equipped with king-sized bed, a lounge area for idle time, AC, free Wi-Fi and bathroom with shower and maritime accents.

The restaurant is the living room of the Überseequartier and meeting place for hotel guests and neighbors. In the morning, guests can count on a gratifying breakfast, during the day there’s space for working, lunch just when you need it, and when it gets dark there are drinks and music. On your plate you will find craftily prepared, yet unfussy meals made of ingredients picked fresh from the region.

The Club Floor, consisting of Radio Room, Club Room and Vinyl Room, offers an atmosphere for individual palavers, personal discussions and rigorous working. A laid-back lounge environment is an appealing spot to spend lazy time and to search the collection of vinyl for the soundtrack fitting to every lifestyle.

The Harbor Sauna on the top floor is the perfect place to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul. It even has an exit onto the roof to cool off and enjoy a view of HafenCity.

Hafencity, the largest inner city development project of Europe, has become a hot spot for contemporary architecture. Evidence can be found in the grand selection of restaurants and bars. There are also many museums in the neighborhood, like the International Maritime Museum and the Miniatur Wunderland.
