Aman- Amanbagh is a 40-room, 5-star, luxury boutique hotel resort in Ajabgarh, Rajasthan India.

Amanbagh is located at the head of a gorge, which opens into a large valley. New Delhi, with its broad boulevards and tree-lined avenues, is the primary gateway to Aman resorts’ stays in northern India. The international airport is located approximately 35km from the city center. Car transfers from the Delhi airport to Amanbagh take approximately 4½ hours at a cost of US$350++ per car each way, although it is recommended to break the journey with a few nights at Aman New Delhi which provides the perfect base for exploring India’s vibrant capital city.

Amanbagh is a contemporary sanctuary paying homage to its princely heritage and historical landscape. Its grand Moghul past is portrayed in its sandstone cupolas and inner courtyards highlighted with soft pink marble. Amanbagh’s 24 Haveli Suites and 16 Pool Pavilions exude the richness of the Moghul era that inspired them, and set in a lush oasis of verdant foliage, there is a refreshing 33m pool which is heated in the cooler months.

Eight Courtyard Haveli Suites are located on the ground level of two dwellings on either side of the swimming pool. The entrance to each is via a courtyard with an outdoor dining area. Inside, there is a living area with a large banquette, two armchairs and a writing desk. Beyond is a private courtyard. The adjacent bedroom has a soaring domed ceiling and king-size bed, whilst the bathroom is filled with natural light from windows facing the courtyard. Each Courtyard Haveli Suite is fitted with a sound system and personal bar.

Located on the ground level are eight Garden Haveli Rooms. Identical in design and furnishings to the Courtyard Haveli Suites, they are differentiated by a private terrace that overlooks a garden.

Eight Terrace Haveli Suites are located on the upper level of the two dwellings. Access to each is via a staircase that leads to private terraced courtyards, each with an outdoor dining area and two sun loungers. Inside, a sitting area is fitted with a daybed, two armchairs, and a writing desk. The bedroom offers a king-size bed and a large light-filled bathroom with bathtub and separate dressing room. Each Terrace Haveli Suite is fitted with a sound system and personal bar.

Sixteen Pool Pavilions are located on the perimeter of the resort and offer their own private swimming pools and spacious gardens. Entry to each Pavilion is via a garden courtyard that leads to a foyer passageway. The foyer provides access to the shared living area and bedroom on one side, and to the bathroom on the other. The living area contains a king-size bed, writing desk, daybed for lounging, sound system and personal bar. The bathroom features a spacious dressing area, twin vanities, a separate shower and a bathtub, carved from one piece of marble, located in the centre of the room under a domed ceiling. Double doors open from both the living area and bathroom onto the spacious garden courtyard, featuring a covered dining and lounge area. The private swimming pool measures 3m by 9m and is cool throughout the summer months and heated during the winter months.

The Restaurant is positioned on the lower floor of the main building and provides a regal atmosphere beneath its double-height ceiling. Seating is either banquette-style or at tables which flow onto the outside terrace. The food is simple, home-style, Indian cuisine, with a choice of Western dishes also available.
Another, more informal dining venue is next to the swimming pool. Here, one dines outdoors beneath a covered colonnade. The Library Terrace, located on the upper floor of the main building, is ideal for informal dining in the evening, particularly during the hotter months when a cool breeze can be enjoyed under a starlit sky. The Bar and Salon is located opposite the Restaurant and offers a cosy place in which to relax and unwind. The Roof Terrace, which is elevated above a canopy of trees, provides sweeping views over the surrounding landscape, and is another option for dining and refreshments.

At this nice hotel’s Spa, a team of highly skilled therapists provides a range of healing therapies, as well as more traditional treatments such as facials, massages and scrubs. These are available in the resort’s spa treatment rooms or in guest havelis.

Beautiful settings, discreet service and exquisite facilities have made Aman resorts ideal venues for celebrating weddings and other special events. There are also meeting rooms and business facilities available for corporate events.

Amanbagh is a secluded and sumptuous retreat, offering visitors the opportunity to discover and explore the fascinating remnants of Rajasthan’s extraordinary history, as well as the colorful culture and wildlife that flourish today. You will be sure to have an amazing, relaxing and luxurious time at this best hotel resort.
