Anantara Resort & Spa is a 83-room, 5-star, modern luxury boutique resort hotel and spa in Mai Khao, Phuket, Thailand. Situated on Mai Khao, Phuket’s longest beach area, Anantara Resort is located on the Northwest of Phuket between the white sand beaches and the lush green of Sirinath National Park. Anantara Resort in Phuket is a member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of The World.

Accommodations at Anantara Resport comes via 83 luxurious Villas, all with private pools, categorized as Pool Villa, Garden Pool Villa, Lagoon Pool Villa, Sala Pool Villa and the Similan Suite.

Anantara Phuket’s 25 stylish and expansive Pool Villas span 180 square metres of laid-back luxury and comfort and brim with indigenous Southern Thai decor. Awaken each morning in your sumptuous king-size bed and catch a glimpse of the Phuket sun breaking through the lush garden surrounds of your pool villa. The vaulted ceiling in the bedroom follows the principles of Thai temple architecture, reaching towards the sky. A daybed covered with colourful silk cushions is opposite a writing desk, both providing intimate spaces for contemplation.

The 23 Garden Pool Villas feature an expansive 180 square metres of Anantara luxury. Slip into the terrazzo tub under the stars, adorned with your favourite flowers. Your full-sized private pool is just a step down from the sliding glass doors of your bed and bathroom, wrapping each pool villa in inviting aquamarine. The spacious bathroom invites pampering, with a rain shower, indigenously sourced tiles and floor-to-ceiling windows that ensure you never forget you’re surrounded by island beauty.

The 23 Lagoon Pool Villas, each 180 square metres, feature a mosaic-tiled pool, seamlessly blending up to the outdoor bath. Hardwood floors from the bedroom unfold onto sun-kissed timber decks, outfitted with sun loungers you’ll never have to fight to reserve!  Recline on the day bed in your pool villa while watching your favourite DVD after a rigorous afternoon diving off Phuket’s shores.

The 11 Sala Pool Villas, at a very spacious 186 square metres each, are a romantic immersion in the indigenous wonder of Phuket. Sala Pool Villas are similar to Lagoon Pool Villas only with the addition of a delightful additional Sala extended over the lagoon. Following ancient Thai building principles, sunshine pours through open windows and glass doors into the bedroom and the bathroom. Settle into a terrazzo tub, connected to the pool in the open-air freedom of the invigorating island breeze.

The Similan Suites is a fabulous and palatial 360-square metre (3,875 square feet), 2-bedroom, Sala Pool Villa that is inspired by a royal Thai seaside residence. Retreat to this sanctuary of free-flowing space set under a gabled roof amidst the plush and colourful surrounds of Thai textiles and fabrics. You’ll feel the traditional spirit of Thailand in the master bedroom, with canopied bed and silk runners woven in a traditional Thai pattern. Unique Phuket-sourced art pieces, the pool villa’s ornate furnishings and daybeds lend themselves to a relaxed afternoon. Step into one of the two bathrooms, with luxurious rain showers, warm natural light and glazed tiles. The bath chambers look onto a delightful walled garden, with wooden veranda and the centrepiece large infinity-edge swimming pool and outdoor dining sala.
