Crystal Cove, a Southern California state part near Newport, offers a number of updated seaside cottages along 3.5 miles of breathtaking coastline. These individual and dorm-style cottages, once a favorite of Hollywood celebrities on holiday, now offer a place to lay your head for as little as $35 per night.

Beachfront Cottages

Most of Crystal Cove’s cottages were built in the 1920s and 1930s. Today these beautifully restored historic cottages are nestled along the shoreline like hidden gems just off Pacific Coast Highway in Southern California between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach.
