If you’ve ever wanted to experience an over the water Bora Bora Bungalow, but aren’t ready to head to one of the Caribbean islands, Disney World has an alternate destination to offer.
Their new Polynesian Village Resort opened on April 1, and features 20 deluxe Disney Vacation Club two bedroom bungalows.
Disney Bora Bora Bungalow Features
Each of the Disney bungalows in the Polynesian Village Resort have a private deck with hanging chairs, a private plunge pool, and views of the Magic Kingdom.
Master bedrooms are equipped with a king size bed, a second bedroom has a queen and additional sleeping is available with a pull-down bed in the second bedroom. Plus, the living room includes a second pull down sleeper, so in all each bungalow can accommodate 8 people.
For those visiting the parks, the Village is within convenient proximity to the Magic Kingdom, and makes it possible to take a break in the middle of the day, to get off your feet for a little while and just enjoy the Florida sunshine from your swinging chair or lounge on the deck.
For those who are ready to take a break from restaurants or quick take away meals, the bungalows make it easy to eat in, too. Each has a dining table, spacious living room, and a full kitchen and laundry area.
Cost Depends on Season
The cost of staying at one of the Bora Bora style bungalows in the Polynesian Village Resort will depend on when you visit. For now, those just wanting to stay in one of the bungalows without visiting any of the parks, you can expect to pay between $2100 and $2900 per night depending on the season.
Members of Disney vacation Club will see rates around $160/point with the cost ranging between 841 and 1439 points (depending on season) for a week-long stay at the resort.
For those who are interested, Disney offers a complete walk-through on of the bungalows online.
