Feel Like Royalty at the Taj Palace of Marrakech

Taj Palace

The Taj Palace of Marrakech is a hotel like no other. It’s nestled in the luxurious Palmeraie region of Marrakech amid the snow-capped Atlas Mountains.

If you’re looking for accommodations to make you feel like royalty, the Taj Palace is both opulent and majestic. It features all the splendors of Moorish, Indian, and Venetian architecture. When guests arrive, they are greeted with a shower of petals and escorted to the beautiful lounge area and given a welcome drink of Moroccan iced tea.

Landscaped Gardens

The Taj Palace Marrakech is situated on 55 hectares of meticulously landscaped gardens, bordered by tranquil palm trees and olive groves. The grounds display a captivating blend of Moroccan and exotic Indian themes with walkways and fountains.

The gardens feature wide open spaces centered by an enormous pool set against the backdrop of the main domed building. In short, this hotel is somewhat reminiscent of the Taj Mahal, and it provides an oasis from the busyness of the city.

Palace Room

The Taj Palace of Marrakech features 161 well-appointed, spacious guest rooms, 25 of which are luxurious suites spread between the main Palace and four exclusive Riads. All the rooms and suites enjoy breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains, the Palmeraie desert landscape, or the gardens.

The rooms themselves are furnished with practical opulence. Everything is deluxe but not over the top. Furnishings are very welcoming and comfortable, with flowing colored cloth and a magical architecture of rich woods, arched doorways, and dual balconies. Rooms enjoy a separate shower and toilet.

Jiva Grande Spa

Nothing makes you feel like royalty like a little pampering and the Jiva Grande Spa has 14 treatment rooms to do just that.

The only downside for all this opulence is that the hotel is about 30 minutes from Marrakech and the cost of food and drinks at the hotel are a little on the expensive side. However, if you don’t want to spend the extra, the hotel does offer a shuttle to town.

This looks beautiful and would be quite the lovely place to stay, even if it is a tad expensive.
