Grand Aigle Hotel and Spa Reopens at Serre Chevalier

The Grand Aigle Hotel & Spa has undergone major renovations and is ready to reopen its doors on December 20. This charming hotel is located in the Serre Chevalier Resort which is ideally located in La Salle les Alpes.

With this refurbishment, the hotel has now been upgraded to a four-star ranking. It features 60 well-appointed rooms that offer both elegance and comfort. The new décor includes natural elements like wood and stone which create a cozy mountain-style atmosphere.

Guests can also enjoy a cozy lounge/bar and on-site restaurant, making it an ideal choice for both leisure or business travelers.

Skiing Serre Chevalier

Skiing Serre Chevalier offers variety with trails for cross-country skiing that carry you through charming hamlets and villages, terrain parks, and events such as night time skiing that offers access to the red run from the Prorel gondola from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays during school holidays.

The Amazing Vauban slope at Biancon and the Mickey run at Villenenuve also provide the opportunity to ski into the early hours.

The Spa

The Le Grand Aigle Hotel Spa features a sauna, hot tub and offers massage treatments perfect for easing the tension from those sore muscles earned on the slopes.


Accommodations offer stunning views of the slopes. Rooms feature amenities such as flat-screen TV, minibar, and en suite bathroom equipped with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Guests will also enjoy a free continental breakfast each morning or can choose to enjoy traditional mountain cuisine at the on-site restaurant.
