Klaus K has nine room types to appeal to any guests, they are so named: Envy Suite, Art Rooms, Envy Plus, Envy, Desire, Envy Twin, Desire Twin, Passion, and Mystical.

There are two Art Rooms, by two different artists. They wanted to ask two major Finnish artists to provide works for their rooms. The art will boost you and give you an exceptional souvenir. The remaining rooms are encouraged by Finland’s national epic, the interiors articulate the poignant themes depicted from the genesis story. All rooms are non-smoking.

Toscanini is the hotel restaurant. It has received its cheery and comfortable ambiance from Tuscany, Italy. Here they offer guests a contemporary country style kitchen under the Tuscan lilies. Their menu is based on the most vital elements of Italian kitchen, such as olive oil, herbs, tomatoes and Tuscan cheeses and cold cuts. In addition, their bread is baked daily by their own personal baker.

For modern and simple food for the knowledgable locals as well as the international visitor that wants to enjoy the Finnish spice of culinary life, there is Ilmatar Restaurant. This place serves Best of Finland Breakfast which focuses on organic and local produce 7 days a week.

Ahjo is part of the Klaus K, Finland’s first Design Hotel. They have room for 350 people and a small terrace for 20 persons. The age limit is 24-years. The place is perfect for young metropolitan people who like excellent music, great environment, and awesome cocktails.

Klaus K Hotel is owned and operated by a family company. Its parent company was founded in 1867. It is of the utmost interest that the current family members carry on the hotel business so that it may be sustainable and environmentally aware for future generations to enjoy.

As part of a new environmental program, Klaus K is the first hotel in Finland to create and execute a carbon footprint calculator. This new feature enables guests to calculate their ecological footprint at the time of their reservation. The calculator takes into account the three most significant greenhouse gases and reveals the exact carbon footprint per room per night.
