Riding the Orient Express Train offers an iconic opportunity to step back in time and travel in luxury. The orient express carries passengers in authentic Art Deco style offering a legendary and unique journey as passengers travel from London to Venice or several other destinations.

The Orient Express Train

Passengers board the Orient Express train in London mid-morning, or for those who want to travel from Paris to Venice, climb aboard just before dinner, for a luxury inspired overnight journey. The train arrives in Venice late the following afternoon.

The train’sĀ ambiance, superior service, and gourmet meals provide a touch of luxury from the past as passengers kick back to enjoy Europe’s breathtaking historic scenery.

The Ritz in London

Passengers stay at The Ritz in London on the first day of the “tour” and can use the time in this historic city to take a walk through Hyde park, or visit attractions like Summerset House, Buckingham Palace, enjoy art at The Royal Academy, or spend the day shopping.

Restaurant dining car

Passengers enjoy a four-course dinner served in one of the restaurant dining cars.

The following day passengers travel to London Victoria station to board the vintage British Pullman carriers which take them to France. In France, they board the Orient Express and settle into a private cabin where they will meet their very own personal Steward.

Then, it’s time to get ready for a four-course dinner served in one of the restaurant dining cars, and those who prefer to have a few drinks can linger in the bar car and listen to the piano being played.

In the morning, a continental breakfast is served in the cabin where passengers enjoy the stunning Swiss Alps scenery from their window.

There passengers transfer from the train to a boat to traverse the grand canals of Venice, and across the lagoon to the Hotel Cipriani for a three-night stay.

During the stay, guests choose one morning for a guided private walking tour of this romantic city, and on the last night they celebrate with a meal at the lavish Fortuny Restaurant.
