The Capitol Hotel Tokyu, Japan

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu opened on October 22, 2010. It is the new flagship hotel of Tokyu Hotels, Co., Ltd., which is one the major hotel chains in Japan. It runs more than 50 hotels and resorts throughout the country.

The hotel’s rooms have astounding panoramic views over Tokyo,
including the National Diet Building and Imperial Palace. The hotel holds 251 rooms including 13 suites. They are designed in stylish modern Japanese style, with ‘shoji’ paper screens separating the bathroom and spacious six-meter windows. The hotel is also home to four exclusive suites on the fifth floor, which overlook the serene landscaped gardens and the historic Hie shrine.

Features and amenities in the hotel include: television, telephone, hot water pot, refrigerator, mini bar, hair dryer, safe deposit box, bidet toilet, LAN cable, Japanese green tea, black tea, coffee, bar soap, bath shower gel, bath salt, body lotion, toothbrush set, shaving set, air brush, hair turban, shower cap, cotton balls, cotton swabs, body sponge, bath towels, face towels, hand towels, bathrobe, slippers and shoe shine sponge.

The Deluxe King room within the hotel is a spacious and luxurious 45 square meters. The accommodation is in modern Japanese style, with king-size beds and ‘shoji’ paper screen room dividers which open to uncover magnificent vistas even from the bathroom.

The Premiere King room is a spaciously sized 63 square meter room. It comes equipped with Japanese paper sliding doors near the windows which gives the room a very peaceful feel and quality so that guests can experience a calming and soothing environment.

Located from the 27th to 29th floors is the “Club Floor.” Three types of rooms are available: Club Deluxe King, Club Premier Corner Twin and Club Premier King.
Club Floor guests can enjoy breakfast or cocktails with a view of the Tokyo skyline.

A highlight of the hotel is the Library Lounge. It is located on the 25th floor and is exclusively for guests of club rooms and suites.

Epicure Rosanjin Kitaoji founded a “Bishoku”(Gourmet) Club called “Hoshigaoka Saryo” on the hill in the early 20th century. Today, the restaurant still continues offering scrumptious cuisine to its guests. Here, the guest can relish the flavors that have been adored by so many guests for forty-three years.

All day dining “Origami” offers new menus of French taste dishes while fully using a selection of healthy vegetables. The great taste varies from breakfast for staying guests to a full course dinner.

Located on the 4th floor, The Capitol Bar, is for adults only. It overlooks the hotel lobby. Hotel guests can chat with friends, relax and enjoy a nice cocktail.

The Capitol Hotel Tokyu’s membership fitness club is a secret retreat in the city for members and hotel guests. The guest can get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and feel any stresses melt away. The Treatment Salon also offers a unique menu of spa treatments that give moments of absolute bliss.
