February 24, 2012 by

Located beside to the Palais des Festivals and the Croisette, the Five Hotel & Spa Cannes has 45 rooms, including 15 suites, prepared with each of the services and luxury expected of a 5-star hotel on the Côte d’Azur.

The will of the Five Hotel & Spa finds its maximum phrase in the romance of a Voyage Immobile, or travelling within the hotel. This is an innovative notion designed by internationally-known architects Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet. Motivated by the church opposite the hotel, the well-named Notre Dame de Bon Voyage, at the foot of which Napoleon bedded down.

The ornamentation of the hotel has influences from corner to corner of the five continents; it is deluxe yet uncomplicated. Everything has been designed exclusively and entirely by the finest craftsmen for the Five Hotel & Spa using natural materials.

There are no tiny rooms at the Five Hotel & Spa. The Deluxe Rooms offer guests with a minimum of 30 square meters of space and the Executive Rooms up to 45 square meters. The furniture induces holiday trunks in the style of Karen Blixen for the 3rd millennium. The beds with their mammoth, pristine canopies with an orangey border are like prophet cocoons, and supply outstanding luxury. The huge bathrooms open onto the bedrooms or maintain their intimacy with the original use of lacquered, beige blinds and shutters. The bedrooms also have big “saddler’s stitch” suitcase-style dressing rooms, opening with fantastic red leather handles, a mini bar and a Nespresso machine, welcome products from the Cinq Mondes range, LPG flat screen televisions, Wi-Fi, an iPod docking station, and more.

The Five Hotel & Spa offers guests 5 categories of suites to choose from, ranging from 45 square meters to 125 square meters, one of which is home to a 38 square meter private terrace with a glass and stainless steel Jacuzzi for bona fide leisure. Some suites have up to three bedrooms and a roomy living room, to supply both familiarity and hospitality. Like the rooms, the ornamentation of the suites is enthused by the notion of travel, mirrored in an inventive set of trunks and objects supplied from across the earth.

The Presidential Suite is 125 square meters. This tremendous suite is the essence of sumptuousness. Roomy, modern and warm, it brings together avant-garde design features with extraordinary coziness. Showcasing leather and noble materials, it opens out onto a 38 s square meter terrace complete with a glass and stainless steel Jacuzzi that is ideal for relaxing unnoticed under a star-sparkling sky. A magnificent, graceful vision of the Notre Dame de Bon Voyage church completes this exclusive experience. The suite offers two bedrooms with private bathrooms and two living rooms equipped with high-tech products and services. The Presidential Suite is a combination of the Terrasse Suite and the Suite So Suite.

The Sea Sens restaurant’s menu is fashioned by Michelin-starred chefs Jacques and Laurent Pourcel, Intuitions by J., the “salon de gourmandises” (a tea room focusing in French confectionary) produced by the World Pastry Champion, Jérôme de Oliveira, who is also accountable for the desserts in the restaurant.

The Spa Cinq Mondes, is found on the roof top with its infinity pool and bar lounge, and there are three yachts available for cruises and private evening events.
