The Nobis Hotel in Stockholm, Sweden

March 28, 2011 by

Nobis Hotel is Stockholm’s newest contemporary luxury hotel.
Luxury of today is not about flash, flaunting or excess in any conventional sense. Contemporary luxury is a more subtle and complex quality: the privilege of enjoying our time in maximum comfort, ease, grace and efficiency, with a minimum of nuisance, regardless of our personal tastes and professional requirements.

Located in two historic late 19th-century buildings on Norrmalmstorg square in the heart of downtown Stockholm, Nobis Hotel is an independent 201-room hotel offering every convenience and service any business and/or pleasure traveler could ever call for, in an environment of casual elegance. The hotel mission is to provide their guests with nothing but superior quality in every detail — plus something more in addition to that. They like to think that nothing in the hotel is standard or routine, but always with something extra to add quality to their guests’ experiences.

Nobis Hotel has been designed for optimal function, beauty, comfort and atmosphere by world renowned Swedish star architect studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, in a style of contemporary yet timeless and classic, durable elegance, mainly in natural materials of superior quality, subtly influenced by the colors, moods and features of our Swedish Royal Capital.

Nobis Hotel has a total of 201 rooms, divided into three room categories and our suites. The atmosphere in the rooms is peaceful, relaxed and sophisticated, with a soft color scale, high comfort, clever commodity details and access to all frontline technology. All rooms have a city view or view over one of their stunning atriums. The rooms are equipped with mini-bar and safe, free access to high-speed wireless internet and a multimedia system with a flat screen television set and a library of complimentary films and music.

The bathrooms are clad from floor to ceiling in Carrara marble. Details such as cozy bathrobes, slippers and Byredo toiletries make the guests’ stay extra comfortable.

There are five room designs for the guest to choose from: Standard, Superior, Deluxe, Suites and Nobis Suite.
The Nobis Suite features two beautiful rooms with original with original panels and stucco from the late 18th century and views over both the Norrmalmstorg square and one of the hotel’s atriums.
