The Screen Hotel is a 13-room, 5-star, luxury boutique hotel in Kyoto Japan. It is known as “Japan’s first personalized boutique hotel.”
Located near the Kyoto Imperial Palace, and downtown Kyoto, The Screen offers superb access to culture. Kyoto is a city that prides itself on preserving tradition and inventing new forms of innovation and creation. The Screen is located on the quiet, relaxing Teramachi Street. This important historical and commercial artery runs north to south along the east side of Kyoto Imperial Park, which dates back to WW2. There are many traditional and unique shops minutes on foot from the hotel including antique shops, Japanese tea shops, ethnic goods, etc. Seikado (a traditional Japanese metal craft shop) and Ippodo (an exclusive Japanese tea shop) and other time-honored shops have long made Teramachi Street a popular shopping area.

Following a complete renovation, accommodations offer guests 13 different guest rooms designed by 13 different domestic and international designers. No two rooms are the same. The beds in all the rooms are Hollywood twin-size beds, a first for the Kansai region, so that you can sleep and rest in extraordinary comfort. The bath and toilet are separate; bathrooms are equipped with a Jacuzzi. Bathroom amenities include Korres Natural Products- shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body butter, face & body soap, hechima gourd body sponge, shoe cream and sewing kit.

In-room electrical appliances include a 42-inch screen LCD TV, Nespresso (espresso machine), i-pod dock, desk light (BIOLITE), audio and DVD player (BOSE), telephone (Amadana), digital body fat scale (OMRON), air cleaner and humidifier (Venta), flashlight (MAGLITE), a safety box equipped with a PC charging function (Dometic), and trouser presser.

The Bron Ronnery Restaurant at the hotel features French cooking with Japanese influences. Sun-Sun, the Bar and Lounge offers a different menu during the day and at night with domestic and international wines and champagnes. The private lounge champagne garden Shoki offers The Screen guests exclusive luxury. Guest can enjoy selected champagnes, fine wines, hors d’oeuvre and light meal.

SPA Adonis offers luxurious spa relaxation and refreshment based on Japanese comforts and inspirations.

For special events and meetings, The Screen has several spaces. The B2F Banquet Room features large lampshades incorporating Nishijin textiles, simple, stylish monotone carpets, large windows and black wall mirrors. This unique, stylish banquet room is perfect for special occasions: weddings, exhibitions, conferences, etc.

The 5F Chapel/Private Lounge is generally for members only but it is also serves as an exclusive wedding chapel.

5F Sky Lounge offers wonderful views of Kyoto from this private lounge will surely make your Kyoto nights more memorable. In the daytime, this is the perfect place to relax and/or sunbathe in privacy. At night, the scene is romantically lit with candles.
