YOTEL Hotel in New York City

September 6, 2011 by

YOTEL was created by YO! Founder Simon Woodroffe OBE and YOTEL CEO Gerard Greene.

At YOTEL they are very fanatical about hotels and have tried to create a ‘First class experience at an affordable price’. YOTEL cabins may be smaller than conventional hotels rooms but through illustrious design they offer a wonderfully designed, adaptable clever space to fit individual needs in which to unwind, revive, connect and sleep.

YOTEL New York is a combination of extravagance, pleasure, and exhilaration; everything you get in a luxury hotel at an affordable price, just two blocks west of Times Square. YOTEL features New York’s largest outdoor terrace, bars, restaurant, studio and gym.

The check in/check out at YOTEL is like that of airport check-in, at a computer. The crew is there to assist you if any problems or questions arise.

In addition to the futuristic check in/check out, YOTEL has the world’s most radical method to storing left luggage, it’s amusing, economical and only the beginning of baggage management. The T-Tech by Tumi luggage Lounge lets guests safely store your bags before check in or after check out so you can make the most of your visit.

YOTEL’s ‘cabins’ come with gentle cooling and heating, free super strength Wi-Fi and a work desk. The moving bed comes with luxury sheets and each cabin has a monsoon power shower room with body wash and towels. The technowall has a TV, music and power services. In fact, the rooms come with everything you’d find in a luxury hotel in under 200 square feet. Cabins offered at YOTEL are: Premium cabin, Premium cabin – overhead bunk, Premium cabin – corner, Premium cabin – double bunk, First cabin, First cabin – sofa bed, First cabin – terrace/hot tub, and VIP two cabin suite.

‘FOUR’ is YOTEL’s restaurant. The food and drink all through ‘FOUR’ is designed and delivered by Sandoval Restaurants who operate 17 restaurants throughout the United States. Chef Richard Sandoval and his team have created lively menus of small plates and sharing dishes to match the vibrant series of gathering spaces.

Complimentary coffee/teas and muffins for hotel guests are served in the Club Lounge. A full breakfast menu is available in the Green Lounge.

Dohyo caters to social diners with menus of small, shared plates that showcase Chef Richard Sandoval’s signature Latin-Asian cuisine. Personal banquettes look onto Dohyo’s raised dining platform, where guests sit at communal tables. Tables lower and raise for Japanese style seating.

New York City’s largest outdoor hotel terrace is found at YOTEL. It features marvelous views, two bars, bookable cabanas and fire pits. A menu of Chef Sandovals sharing plates, cocktails, pitchers and bottle-shaker service are offered.
