E-bike tours continue to be a growing trend in Switzerland. The views from bike paths are stunningly breathtaking, but thanks to the motors on the e-bikes, you won’t be gasping for breath from the excursion.

One of the latest Swiss tours available through Flying Wheels takes bikers through unique Swiss villages and along the River Lutschine. The ride takes adventurers from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen into the magical Valley of 72 Waterfalls and one of the biggest nature reserves in Switzerland.

What You’ll See

Bikers and their e-bikes are carried up to the bike path toward Murren via a cable car. The panoramic views offered by every aspect of this tour are stunning. Bikers cycle toward Murren and visit a cheese dairy along the way for a rest and picnic lunch of sausage and cheese specialties provided by the dairy.

Following lunch, cyclists have the opportunity to ride a few kilometers to the charming old chalets found in the village of Murren and to the nearby Schilthorn mountain.

This e-bike tour takes riders through enchanting forests and along the river Lutschine. The cable car carries riders and e-bikes to the small village of Stechelberg and from there the tour rides to the Trümmelbach Waterfalls which are actually inside the mountain.

The water thunders through a narrow gorge at 20,000 liters per second before it cascades 10 times before flowing into a clear mountain stream.

Amid such a stunning backdrop, guides also offer interesting stories, facts, and figures for an unforgettable full-day tour. This tour is considered to be of medium difficulty with gentle inclines. This tour runs every day and tour departs around 9:00 in the morning and finishes up about 5:00 in the evening.

While the e-bikes take much of the physical exertion out of this tour, it is not possible to take part in this event with children.
