Costa Durada, or the Golden Coast, spans over 130 miles of the eastern coast of Spain. It is famous for it’s clean, soft, sandy beaches and stunning, crystal clear Mediterranean waters.

This stunning coast offers tourists the opportunity for a variety of vacations. The 60+ beaches scattered among the diverse landscape and unique towns are sure to please all who make it to this part of the world.

The Mediterranean climate provides steady 80 degree temperatures, dry air, and cool winds, and serve to provide a diverse landscape with steep cliffs, private coves, and mountains dotted with olive and almond trees.

The town of Salou, one of the more popular cities along Costa Durada, offers a beautiful promenade along the beach, wonderful shopping, and a bustling nightlife.

Muntanyans, Torredembarra, known as the only nudist beach in the area, is rich with vegetation and soft dunes that roll right into the water.

Vilafortuny, Cambrils  and Tamarit, Tarragona offer a bit more peace and quiet and stunning views of the coastline, castles, and town of Salou.

Tarragona is the capital city, a World Heritage Site, and provides historical buffs a chance to roam around ancient ruins of palaces, towers, and castles that date back to Roman times.

If you’re visiting with kids, don’t miss PortAdventura. This famous theme park takes you on a wild ride through 5 different country themes and offers fun for the whole family.
