Escape to Mazatlan

On Mexico’s Gold Coast, the city of Mazatlan welcomes travelers year round in search of sun and fun.

Luxury resorts, like the Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Resort (pictured above) line the white sandy beaches of this popular tourist destination, giving world-class accommodations to those who want to get some rest and relaxation on the beach or by the pool, surf, or take in some arts and culture.

Visitors to Mazatlan can certainly find the beach vacation of their dreams, but there is also much more to do in this popular place. Mazatlan has a rich history, which is evident in the number of monuments and historically significant locations that are within miles of the beaches.

Visit the Olas Altas beach and boardwalk for views of historic landmarks, or stroll along Malecón promenade, the longest of its kind in the world, to see historic buildings and monuments in addition to shops, street vendors, bars and restaurants.

A little farther inland, visit the Zona Dorada and the Centro Historico, or “Old Town,” for a better taste of Mazatlan’s history.

Mazatlan truly has something for everyone, whether you’re a sun worshiper or a history buff. The wide range of accommodations allow you to choose something fit for your budget, ranging from a small hotel to an expansive luxury all-inclusive resort.
