Must See: Brooklyn Flea Market

December 11, 2012 by

If you’re out and about in NYC on the weekend, head over to Brooklyn for one of the best flea markets around.

Praised as an unforgettable urban experience in the Big Apple, the Brooklyn Flea Market has been attracting crowds since it began in 2008. Since then, the weekend market has expanded and exploded in popularity.

Today, visitors to this indoor/outdoor market can spend hours looking over vintage clothing, furniture, antiques, records, collectibles and more.

Hundreds of vendors fill the market each weekend, selling both goods and fresh food. The market runs during the winter from 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. As a bonus, the Brooklyn Flea Market also hosts a Gifted Holiday Market on December 22 and 23 for those last minute, unique gift buys that you can’t find anywhere else.

It’s been featured in Travel + Leisure, National Geographic Traveler, Oprah’s Favorite Things, CNN and more – The Brooklyn Flea Market is not to be missed if you happen to be in the city any weekend throughout the year.

For more information on the vendors, the market and hours of operation, visit the Brooklyn Flea Market website.
