Today with sites like bestsingletravel.com, singles can travel with other active adult singles to share in adventure and fun. Package tours for singles are also offered by mainstream travel sites like alaskatravel.com which features packages for singles who want to explore the 49th state.

For those who’ve always dreamed of something a little more exotic like going on Safari to witness the Big 5: lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo, that dream can come true with a Safari for singles from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park to Cape Town this coming July.

What to Expect on this 10-day Singles Safari in Kenya Africa

This safari is timed for participants to witness the great annual migration of millions of zebra, wildebeest and other antelopes. This annual journey includes hundreds of thousands of animals from the Serengeti in Tanzania to the Masai Mara in Kenya.

  • Day 1: Day one of this safari vacation starts with a welcome by service representatives in Nairobi when you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. From here you are driven to your luxury hotel.
  • Day 2: The following day starts with an early breakfast before heading to Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Here at the Amboseli National Park you’ll experience herds of elephants and other Savannah wildlife including giraffes, kudu, warthogs, zebras and more than 425 species of birds.
  • Day 3: Day three starts with a dawn game drive. It’s the perfect time to pull out your camera. Return to the lodge for breakfast and a relaxing day sunbathing, swimming or enjoy the well-stocked library.
  • Day 4: Another early breakfast and it’s off to Nairobi to visit “The City Under the Sun” in time for an early lunch before continuing north to the Mountain Lodge. This is no ordinary lodge but an exotic tree hotel found at the heart of Mt. Kenya’s forest reserve. It offers a great opportunity to view wildlife from the safety of your room which is connected to the lodge by a tunnel system.
  • Day 5: After breakfast, transport crosses the foothills of Mount Kenya to Isiolo town. Here you’ll experience a thorny landscape and the Uaso Nyiro River. Here you have the chance to view wildlife including lions, cheetah, gray zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich and more.
  • Day 6: Day six starts out before dawn in search of Africa’s wild cats. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax at the pool, and head out again for the afternoon game drive.

  • Day 7: After breakfast it’s time to travel west for a brief stopover in Nyahururu Falls. From there, the next destination is Lake Nakuru. The lodge there is situated in the south ecological niche of the park where you’ll see endangered species including Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plain antelopes.
  • Day 8: A visit to the Masai Mara Game Reserve is your chance to spot the “Big Five” and plenty of other wildlife across the rolling grasslands and acacia Savannah. You’ll spend two nights here at the Mara Sopa Lodges.
  • Day 9: After breakfast at the lodge, relax and enjoy a swim under the African sun. In the afternoon, a return to the bush will offer a chance to see elephants, lions, rhinos and more.
  • Day 10: After a day at the famous Giraffe Center, the evening will be spent at a farewell dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant (a popular night club). From here you’ll head to the airport and the trip home.

This singles vacation trip is designed with singles in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s in mind.
