When you’re ready to get out of the sun for a while, head into town and check out themed restaurants and bars owned and operated by people from around the world.

Visit the central market downtown or stop by one of the bakeries for fresh treats. Downtown Sihanoukville can be walked in about an hour, or if you’re tired of walking, there are plenty of taxis and motorized rickshaws pulled by a motorcycle called Tuk Tuks.

Enjoy time in the shade with a hike in the forest or climb aboard a dirt bike and enjoy the freedom to see what you want at your own pace.

Along with watersports and hiking, visitors have an opportunity to visit majestic waterfalls, volcanic lakes, the Angkorian ruins, Buddhist Temples and more. Many tours can be arranged that start and end in Sihanoukville.

Day trips to the fishing village of Stung Hauv, the Kbal Chay Waterfalls, the Ream National Park, and visits to the nearby islands are all popular choices you won’t want to miss.
