The 112 Eatery located in the warehouse district of downtown Minneapolis offers up food that’s familiar, interesting, and reasonably priced.
Eclectic Casual Ambiance
The ambiance of the 112 Eatery differs with the ebb and flow of the crowd. The ornately decorated, narrow space can be a bit noisy when they have a full house, but you still get a classy yet cozy feel even when cramped.
The second floor is less cramped than the first, but the booths on the first floor are very comfy.
Comfort Food Classics and More
The 112 Eatery offers an extensive menu with a price range to fit any budget. Entrees range in the neighborhood of $10-$25. If you can’t make up your mind, the burgers are considered a must-have on a first visit, and make an excellent choice any time.
However, if you’re ready to be a little more adventurous you may want to try the frog legs with wakame and mustard sauce, or the nori encrusted sirloin with ponzu, or stringozzi with lamb sugo.
No matter what you order, you’ll want to save some room for dessert. The tres leches served in sweet milk is so delicious you’ll want to lick the plate, but that’s just one item on the dessert menu.
You can check their website to get a peek at the menu before your visit.
Two Full Bars
A full bar is located on both floors and features a substantial wine list with a nice selection of affordable wines.
This eatery is ideally located, but parking can be tight when things are busy. They are only open for dinner. Monday through Thursday hours are from 5:00 to midnight. On Fridays and Saturdays they stay open until 1:00 a.m., and on Sundays the are only open until 10:00 p.m.
However, at slow times like Sunday nights, you can find parking on the street with no problem.
