Devonshire Food Festival

The 2013 Devonshire Food Festival will enjoy its third year this November and is scheduled to be the biggest and best event yet. This year’s event at the Burlington at The Devonshire Arms, in Yorkshire, will be managed by Head Chef, Adam Smith, a rising star in the food industry. This is no ordinary food festival, but a sit down affair.

November at The Burlington at the Devonshire Arms

The Burlington at The Devonshire Arms is Yorkshire’s most highly-rated restaurant. It boasts a Michelin star and 4 AA Rosettes and this fall it is the host to the third ‘Devonshire Food Festival’ from November 18 -24, 2013.

Head Chef, Adam Smith

Festival organizers have handed over the Devonshire for this year’s festival to Head Chef, Adam Smith, who worked at the Ritz for 8 years. He joined the Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants in July 2013, and at the age of 25 has already earned a number of awards including an Acorn award which puts him in the top 30 industry professionals who are under the age of 30.

He’s arranged a chef lineup that will not disappoint festival goers’ taste buds. In fact, for those who watched this year’s Great British Menu – the festival has two chefs from the series competing at lunchtime: Tim Bilton from the Butchers Arms and Stephanie Moon from Rudding Park.
