If you’re traveling through the Louisville area and looking for a good place to eat, Lynn’s Paradise Café is the place to hang your hat.
Owner, Lynn Winter, opened Paradise Café in 1991 and created a unique setting and menu which has garnered attention in local and national media.
The success of Lynn’s Paradise Café stands as a tribute to her originality and has been featured on television shows including the Oprah Winfrey Show, the Food Network’s Throwdown with Bobby Flay, and the Folod Network’s “Best Of.”
Open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
The Paradise Café is a family-friendly restaurant located off the beaten path, but close to downtown. It’s decorated with carnival type colors and an eclectic collection of interesting items that generate conversation and make for fun photo ops.
This popular cafe is probably best known for its tasty down-home classic breakfast entrees, but the lunch and dinner fare does not disappoint.
Selections include choices designed to please the entire family, and homestyle dinners like “Mom’s Meatloaf” and home roasted turkey are menu favorites. You’ll also find a few items that are a little less conventional, like “Hoppin Juan” a black bean chili topped with cheese and sour cream and served with organic jasmine rice.
The World of Swirl
Lynn extended her quirky creativeness when she opened the World of Swirl gift shop as an expansion of the cafe. You walk through the gift shop to get into the restaurant, much like a Cracker Barrel restaurant.
Lynn’s Paradise Café, in Louisville KY is a popular destination because it is interesting and entertaining. In fact Esquire Magazine listed it as one of the four most fun restaurants in America. Whether you choose to eat at the counter or one of tables, it will be an experience you won’t soon forget.
