Eat Here: ODC Orlando di Castello

The ODC Orlando di Castello in Vienna is just as well known for its cutesy and eclectic interior as it is for its fresh and innovative food options. Designer Denis Kosutic (a Viennese architect) describes the interior style as a mix of ““Queen Elizabeth, the rapper 50 Cent and a girl from Tyrol.”

Unique indeed. Floral prints, heavily upholstered furniture, and plenty of white make up what the architect calls a “hard innocence.”

The menu follows suite, with classic tastes that have a bit of a twist. For lunch, order the Octopussy (grilled octopus) or a Caesar Burger. Dinner is selected from the market menu, which is ever-changing, while dessert options include a decadent Black Beauty (Almond Crisp, Karamelmousse, dark chocolate glaze and silver tinsel).

Renowned French pastry chef Pierre Reboul takes his brioche and his dessert offerings very seriously. If you’re in the mood for a complete dining experience, ODC will give you that and a bit more.
