Olympic Provisions Restaurant and Deli in Portland,Oregon

April 28, 2011 by

Home to both a European-style restaurant and deli serving lunch and dinner, Olympic Provisions is one of Oregon’s first USDA certified meat-curing facilities.
The restaurant and the meat curing facility are both situated in the celebrated Olympic Mills Commerce Center, a wonderfully restored cereal mill and a landmark in Portland’s lower Southeast Industrial neighborhood.
Salumist Elias Cairo creates “American Charcuterie” using local, high-quality ingredients from wholesale to grocery stores, restaurants and wine bars around the area. Many products, including some that are not available anywhere else, can be sampled at the restaurant and procured straight from the deli case.

The menu includes such items as: Fried Almonds, Pork Rillette Filled Hand Pie, Glazed Radish, Fennel, Mint and Spinach and Grana Padano Tortilla.
Alex Yoder guides the kitchen, whose food centers on clean, bold flavors of the Pacific Northwest. Guests are invited to come in and enjoy the menu of small plates and tasty bites.
