Opa Restaurant in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

May 11, 2011 by

Opa, a 70 seat vibrant bar/restaurant, inspired by the culture of Greece, is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The surroundings provide a perfect stage to showcase the menu, which features authentic Greek dishes and cocktails.

Centered on a rectilinear bar of Corian-topped river rocks, Opa’s defining feature is a massive canopy constructed of birch branches. Lighting is supplied from above by hand-made terra cotta pendants hanging over tables of reclaimed oak. Opa offers dinner, desert and cocktails daily. Some dishes include grilled octopus, zucchini chips, and roasted beet salad. The dessert menu boasts treats such as: baklava and house-churned ice cream. Opa also offers a variety of specialty cocktails, including the Opa Martini.
