Pop’s Soda Ranch and Ice Cream Shop an Iconic Sweet Stop

May 15, 2015 by

Pop’s is a unique stop along Highway 66 a little northeast of Oklahoma City. You’ll be able to spot the 66-foot-tall pop bottle from miles away, especially at night when it becomes a neon beacon that glows in a rainbow of hues.

This landmark is symbolic of the restaurant’s unique stock of approximately 600 kinds of sodas.

More Than a Soda Ranch

While Pop’s Soda Ranch is known for the hundreds of soda pop flavors it has available, the restaurant and shake shop offers much more.

Try the jalapeno-hot three grilled cheese sandwich paired with a Jarritos Guava or Sioux City Prickly Pear soda. Or choose to have a burger made with 100% Black Angus beef or a chicken fried steak with an ice cream float made with your favorite soda paired with hand-dipped premium Blue Bell ice cream.

For those who prefer a milk shake, the 10 mouth-watering signature flavors include: caramel, peanut butter cup, chocolate, coffee, cookies ‘n’ cream, double chocolate, salted caramel, pumpkin pie, strawberry, and of course vanilla.

Pops also serves breakfast on the weekends with beverages like orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

Try One of Pop’s Handcrafted Soda Pops

If you’re feel adventurous, try one of their hand crafted sodas like the Mexican cola crafted with a hint of cinnamon and touch of lime, the spicy ginger beer made with fresh ginger and ginger extract, or the creamy root beer which is made with clove, cinnamon, nutmeg and coriander.

With almost 600 soda flavors on hand at any given time, Pop’s may be temporarily out of a few of the flavors, but it won’t take long to find an alternative. Take time to browse their list of flavors before your visit to help narrow your choices.

This is a stop kids of all ages will enjoy!
