Second Bar + Kitchen is a lively downtown Austin destination where Executive Chef David Bull combines seasonal ingredients and neighborhood artisan products to create what he calls “Natural American” cuisine. They offer small plates for sharing, large plates for entrees, rotisserie selections, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and desserts created by Pastry Chef Plinio Sandalio. Chef de Cuisine Ethan Holmes supervises the kitchen and the dining room is managed by Assistant General Manager Laura Shearer and Operations Manager Josh Palmer.

From the bar, they offer craft and eclectic beers; an amicable wine program, artisan and classic cocktails, and zero proof selections that are free of high fructose corn syrup. Responsible for the bar are Bar Manager Adam Bryan and Lead Barman Billy Hankey.

At Congress they strive to offer guests nothing less than the finest culinary experience from start to finish. Like Second Bar + Kitchen, Chef David Bull also describes the prix-fixe menu as “Natural American” cuisine where he selects the highest-quality seasonal ingredients at this restaurant. Chef de Cuisine Rebecca Meeker ensures every dish comes out flawlessly executed by the team. And Pastry Chef Plinio Sandalio presents a selection of imaginative desserts designed to leave guests smiling and satisfied after a memorable meal.

Bar Congress, located in between Congress and Second Bar + Kitchen, is a stylish artisan cocktail lounge and premium wine bar featuring a wide array of superior spirits and exclusive wines available by the glass.
