Create Family Memories at Camelback Ski Resort

October 3, 2014 by

Winter fun featured at Camelback Ski Resort in the Poconos Mountains of Pennsylvania offers adventure for all ages. Along with the¬†diverse range of activities, amid all the fun, families discover something else — unique bonding qualities and memories for a lifetime.

In fact, some families have enjoyed generations of fun together with children growing up to bring their children, and then they bring their children creating generations of memories. At Camelback no one is left out.

Camelback Snowtubing

During the winter season, Camelback offers 100% snowmaking on all 166 acres of terrain with more than 1200 snowmaking guns capable of covering 2 acres with one foot of snow in just an hour.

With 300 instructors, over 30 trails and 15 lifts, this is the place to learn to ski, improve your skills, or just come and use the skills you have and enjoy the slopes and trails.

Camelback features 18 snowtube lanes and is a favorite place to hang out for families ready to have some fun together. Snowtubing is a perfect activity whether you’re six or eighty-six and a great way for grandparents to build memories with the grandkids!

At Camelback you don’t have to walk back up the hill, either. A conveyor takes you and your tube back to the top.

Camelback Snowboarders

Camelback has the only half pipe in the area along with terrain parks and jumps ready to challenge your snowboarding skills.

Kids Learning Center

The Kids Learning Center offers lessons for kids starting at age three. Here they can learn the basics of how to ski and snowboard and will develop skills they can use the rest of their lives. The Kids Learning Center allows parents to go out and enjoy part of their day while the kids learn under the guidance of experts.

Whether you’re a beginner or expert, young or old, Camelback Ski Resort is an ideal place to build memories and have fun.

The ONLY good thing about winter being around the corner (SOB!) is that skiing can be fun on sunny days!
