An outdoor spa encounter adds elements of nature that enhance the experience with natural scents and sounds that can’t be reproduced indoors. The spa at L’Auberge de Sedona has perfected this experience with what is known as “forest bathing” however, that term may not mean what you think.

Forest Bathing

The L’Auberge Nature Spa in Sedona, Arizona, is situated on the banks of Oak Creek, tucked beneath thick canopies of sycamore, and offers the perfect spot for forest bathing which allows guests to connect with nature as they linger about the property.

Here guests can also choose from a selection of spa treatments designed to relieve tension, restore the body, and increase their sense of well-being all while being immersed in nature.

L’Auberge Spa Treatments

Spa treatments at L’Auberge include traditional and European treatments along with healing techniques like Reiki.

Guests can choose a creekside treatment in a private cabana accompanied by the sounds of Oat Creek flowing by, or select treatment on the balcony of their lodge room, suite or cottage where they can still enjoy the magical surroundings of Sedona.

Treatments range from a playful “feet in the creek” which aids in a three-part connection between the earth, nature and yourself, to scalp massages, and signature treatments like their Sedona Dreams total body indulgence complete with a ginger-lime scrub, and hot stones to relieve your tired muscles following that hike in the woods.

Outdoor Yoga at Sunrise

Outdoor yoga ranges from sunrise classes to private “connecting with nature” opportunities led by a certified Shinrin-Yoku facilitator who provides personalized sensory immersion leading to a deeper awareness of nature.

“There is a presence, a healer…a beneficial quality that is felt while slowing down in nature that cannot be denied.” — Devani Paige, Ph.D., a holistic expert and meditation/yoga teacher at L’Auberge

To book a private or guided group Forest Bathing session, the spa can be contacted via email at [email protected] or call 1-844-330-8372. Those who wish to stay at the L’Auberge de Sedona can check out their accommodations online.
