Best Travel Cameras for Vacation

CamerasIf your sole purpose for traveling is to take great photos, then this article isn’t for you. The cameras listed here are for people who want to get great vacation shots and who don’t want to worry if they accidentally drop the camera in the pool.

Features to Look For

When shopping for the best travel camera, there are a few features to look for.

First of all, the camera should be light and small enough to fit in a pocket. If you plan to stow it in your suitcase, it needs to be rugged enough to endure the abuse inflicted by baggage handlers.

Lastly, it also needs to take good pictures and have a zoom feature. Along with that, if you’re heading for a beach destination or know you’ll be lounging at the pool, a waterproof camera is a good idea, and while not necessary, it is nice to have a video feature.
