Charge on the Go with Innergie PocketCell

November 26, 2012 by

Thanks to smartphones and e-readers, gone are the days of lugging around hefty travel guides. Everything from restaurant recommendations to suggested walking paths can be summoned with the push of a button.

But what do you do when you’re in an unfamiliar city and your battery dies? You could hotfoot it back to the hotel, take a gamble on some shady cafe, or if you’ve planned ahead, plug your device into an Innergie PocketCell.

Taking up no more space than a travel size tube of toothpaste, the PocketCell is powerful enough to charge two smartphones fully or one tablet half way.

The mobile battery is rechargeable and works for all USB-powered devices, including mp3 players, smartphones, tablets, GPS and portable game consoles.

The PocketCell also works across brands, meaning you can have one battery to charge your iPod, Nook and Blackberry. The battery works on over 10,000 devices.

For a full list of the PocketCell’s compatibilities, check out their site.

The battery also comes with a 3-in-1 USB, which has a Mini USB, Micro USB and Apple connector all in one place so you never leave the right cable behind.

The PocketCell retails for $79.99 and can be purchased at the Innergie website or in store at Target.

Really, this can work on thousands of devices? Would that include the brand new smaller connector needed for the new iPad 3?
