Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse

If only everything in life were this simple… the inventive brains at Microsoft have come up with a uber-flexible laptop accessory we now can’t live without when we travel: the Arc Touch Mouse, which quite literally bends to our every whim.

It really is as basic as it sounds: curve it with the palm of your hand to turn it on and give it an ergonomic arc, then flatten it to turn it off and pack it away without taking up extra space and causing that strange bulge a typical mouse produces on the side of your laptop case. This little must-have is so slender, in fact, it even fits into most tablet sleeves without so much as a momentary fuss.

Compatible with Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.4-10.7 (and soon to be available for Windows 8), the mouse is wireless, spans just over five inches when laid flat and uses BlueTrack technology — sort of an optic/laser hybrid — to get the job done without draining its battery too quickly. Its USB transceiver can be stowed magnetically in the mouse when on the go.

Easy peasy, just like we like it.

The Arc Touch Mouse is available through Microsoft Store (with 20 stores in major cities across the US) and online. It retails for $59.95 MSRP.
