The newest player in the travel site game is Peek, which launched October 10, 2012. Using this sleek new site, travelers can research and book activities to do in a city all in one place.
Peek is sort of an online travel guide and booking agent all in one. Travelers no longer have to do the research online and find the correct websites to book activities – they can simply do it all through Peek.
Peek gathers information on activities and things to do in cities and compiles them into one easy-to-follow section of the website (i.e. Things To Do In San Francisco). Peek also establishes relationships with local vendors to get travelers the best deals on the things to do in particular cities. Travelers can book these deals right on the site.
One of the coolest parts about Peek is that it also has a feature called Perfect Day, which features insider tips from celebrities and travel personalities like Piers Morgan, Tory Burch and Jack Dorsey. They tell you their favorite places to eat and can’t miss spots so that you can experience a location like a (famous) local.
Currently, Peek only offers itinerary ideas in California and Hawaii, but there is no doubt they will be expanding soon.
