Rentable WiFi On-The-Go: Trip Butler

August 20, 2012 by

Rent Internet connection while traveling at local costs with the TripButler WiFi dongle. The tiny TripButler fits in your pocket or your travel bag to allow you to quickly connect up to five mobile devices to the Internet while only paying to rent the device and access a set number of days worth of Internet connection.

The TripButler seems to be an affordable, and cute, alternative to roaming charges and surprise bills upon a return home from an international trip.

To use TripButler, you simply have to log on to the TripButler website and reserve a device for the duration of your trip in the country you will be visiting. TripButler currently has devices available in most European countries.

After renting a device, the TripButler will either be shipped to your home, or the hotel or other accommodations you will be staying at while abroad.

TripButler is compatible with any WiFi device, and you don’t have to download any software to use the device. The rental cost for the device is $2.80 USD per day, and a quote for WiFi coverage during your travel days is available through the TripButler website.
