Spacepak Clothes Case from Flight 001

June 6, 2012 by

Looking for a way to bypass the luggage carousel but can’t imagine traveling with a pared down wardrobe? Enter the Spacepak line from Flight 001.

Our favorite is the F1 Spacepak Clothes. Just fold clothes to fit the case (you want items to fill the case’s frame closely for maximum stuffage) then stack up your clothes. Once all your clothes items are inside, press down to push air out via the air vents and zip.

In a video on the Flight 001 site, they were able to stuff 4 pairs of pants and 12 shirts into the 16in X 11.25in X 4.25 inch bag.

What’s even more ingenious though, is that the bag helps you to organize, with one side for clean clothes and the other for dirty laundry. Gone are the days of bulky laundry bags (or worse, when you have to stop and sniff to see which pieces are wearable).

Want a walkthrough? Check out this video on how to utilize the Spacepack system to achieve maximum suitcase space (because even if we don’t have tons of clothes to bring, we always need a little extra space for souvenirs).

The Spacepack Clothes costs $46. The line also carries bags for shoes, lingerie, underwear and toiletries, which come in a range of colors.

I would definitely buy these cases if they were slightly less expensive. I loved the demo video, seems doable, except for only two pairs of shoes! Packing shoes is where I lose the most space in my bag.
