Travel Must-Have: Minimergency Kit

December 24, 2012 by

We tend to overpack — yes, we need shorts and a winter jacket and workout gear and a cocktail dress (or two). And then there’s all those little things that we don’t always need, but can grind our getting ready routine to a halt when don’t have them (earring backs, anyone?).

Unfortunately, sometimes we’re too busy shoving snowpants into our luggage that we forget to pack a travel sewing kit, which, in a worst case scenario, could make all our clothing contingency planning worthless.

But luckily, we’ve found an easy solution — the Minimergency Kit. This cupcake-sized kit packs 16 travel essentials inside a brightly colored metallic case.

Here’s what’s inside:¬†hairspray, clear nail polish, nail polish remover, emery board, lip balm, earring backs, clear elastics, sewing kit, double-sided tape, stain remover, deodorant towelette, pain reliever, tampon, breath freshener, dental floss, and an adhesive bandage.

The kit comes in 7 colors and retails for $13. Refills are also available, so you don’t have to worry when you use up the last nail polish remover wipe.

Minimergency Kits are also available for men, which come in an aluminum tin embossed with a mustache and contain must haves like extra buttons and a shoe shine towelette.

Minimergency Kits can be purchased at Pinch Provisions.
