Visit Germany’s number one beer producer, Bitburg Brewery, and taste one of Germany’s finest drafts.

Bitburg brewery planted its roots in 1817 as a small, rural brewery in Bitburg, Germany. Then it went on to produce Germany’s first Pilsner style brew in 1883 and made their US debut at the World Fair in 1893.

In 1944, a destructive war left the brewery in shambles and it was forced to close for the next 5 years, reopening in 1949.

Explore the creation of this famous brewery and the craftwork that goes into making the number one tapped beer in Germany.

A tour of the Bitburg Brewery takes approximately 1 hour and costs 8 Euro. Your guided tour will walk you throw the brewery and introduce you to the development and production of the beers as well as through the factory where you’ll discover how 106 million gallons of beer are bottled and distributed.

The conclusion of your tour lands you in the fine lounge where you can enjoy two brews of your choice and a traditional pretzel.
