Knoebels' Giant Crystal Pool

Free admission to Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA, makes it a popular destination for families with kids, but Knoebels offers the complete package. Free admission is just icing on the cake for families on a budget or those looking for a place to hold their family reunion without breaking the bank.

Knoebels Rollercoaster

Rides and Attractions

Rides and attractions are available for every age. You’ll find everything from kiddie rides like the kiddie rollercoaster Kozmo’s Kurves, to thrill rides and family rides and attractions designed to keep everyone entertained.

The carousel is one of the few left that still lets you try to catch the brass ring! While you’re there you may want to visit the Carousel Museum or one of their other museums for a break in the action.

For golfers ready to step away from the amusement park atmosphere, the Knoebels’ 18-hole golf course is located right next door to the park, and nature lovers will want to be sure to stop by the Knoebels’ Bald Eagle Habitat to watch and learn about these majestic creatures.

A special attraction that’s popular among all ages is the 4D Motion Ride Experience. This one lets you interact with the action on the screen. If you have little ones, though, there is a height restriction. You must be at least 48″ tall to ride.

Check out their website to see the wide-range of things to do. You’ll find everything from miniature golf to laser tag. While admission is free to enter Knobels Amusement Park, there are fees charged for rides and attractions, but you only pay for rides and attractions you actually enjoy, and packages are available to help save money.

Knoebels Campground

Camping and Cabins

Knoebels has a couple of campgrounds and cabins, too. At the end of the day when you’re tired and ready to sit down, just return to your campsite and kick up your feet. Campsites include parking for one passenger vehicle. Tents, campers, and popups are welcome and water filling stations are available, however hookups aren’t permitted.

If you’re not really into roughing it in a tent, or even a popup, cabins are available so you can experience the fun of camping without all the hauling and setup. Log cabins equipped with a log table and stools, electricity, and three double-foam mattresses make an attractive but rustic option to sleeping in a tent, but campers must supply their own bedding.

Swimming

Knoebels’ Giant Crystal Pool offers all the fun of a waterpark with its waterslides, or you can just enjoy time in the pool as you cool off in 900,000 gallons of mountain stream water. Shallower options for your little ones include fountain play where they can enjoy hours of wet fun, or you can just relax with them in the shallow water.

Knoebels has a tradition of family fun. It might just be the vacation you’re looking for without the high price tag.
