9,000 animals call the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium home. Located in Powell, Ohio, the Columbus Zoo is a non-profit zoo involved in a number of conservation programs and special events and they offer some unique exhibits the whole family can enjoy, including the African Forest and Shores of Asia Quest.

- Kroger: Kroger is the exclusive ticket destination for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and Zoomezi Bay daily or season ticket passes. You have to stop by a Central Ohio Kroger Store for discount tickets because these discount tickets are not available on the Kroger website.
- Become a zoo member: If you become a zoo member, admission is free and also includes free or reduced admission to other zoos around the country. Other benefits include free parking, a 10% discount at the gift shop, along with other money-saving benefits.
Columbus Zoo Hours
The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open every day of the year with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hours vary depending on the time of year.
In general, the zoo opens at 10:00 a.m. in the winter and fall, and 9:00 a.m. in the spring and summer months. Closing times range anywhere from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Extended hours are based on available daylight. Check their website for specific hours for your visit.
