Bring the Kids: Museum of Science, Boston

A Massachusetts landmark and a favorite attraction in Boston, the Museum of Science is a great place for the entire family to spend an afternoon. Part of Science Park, this museum attracts over 1.5 million visitors each year. With around 500 interactive exhibits, it’s easy to see why.

Favorite exhibits in this fun museum include Making Models, Mathematica, Investigate!, Theater of Electricity, To the Moon, Dinosaurs and the Butterfly Garden. The museum also features a Simulator, Planetarium, IMAX theater and live presentations each day.

Tips for traveling with kids to this museum include bringing a change of clothes for after playtime at the┬áDiscovery Center’s water table and allowing kids to spend as much time a few fun exhibits as they like to maximize learning potential.

Tickets to the Museum of Science in Boston are $22 USD for adults and $19 USD for children. Additional ticket prices for planetarium shows and IMAX movies apply.

    I think for something to be truly educational, it needs to be hands-on for kids to learn. This may be a great place to hit up when traveling nearby.
