Irish Eats in Orlando

July 28, 2013 by

The show goes on in Downtown Disney at Raglan Road Irish Pub.

This Irish Pub, winner of the National Kid Dining Award, is fun for the whole family. They have live entertainment 7 days a week, from singer/songwriters to Irish step dancing. Hooting and hollering is encouraged, and guests are often invited on stage to attempt their own form of an Irish jig.

After being mesmerized by the show, you’ll be mesmerized by the food. With an award winning Irish chef, the food is comparable only to a meal in Dublin itself. The menu features Irish favorites with an upgrade.

Try the “It’s not bleedin’ Chowder,” or the “Banger and Booz,” a heap of Guinness battered onion straws over mashed potatoes smothered with beef stew. Then, top it off with “Bread and Butter Pudding,” or the “Bakewell Beauty,” a pear tart with almond frangipance and vanilla ice-cream.

As would be expected of an Irish Pub, the beer selection is outstanding. They feature drafts from 4 difference Irish provinces, as well as a wide selection of craft beers.

If you can’t make it to Ireland, at least plan a trip to Raglan Road. You won’t be able to tell the difference.
