Planet Snoopy

Kansas City, MO, offers a host of things to do for families with children. It features attractions like Planet Snoopy at Worlds of Fun, Crayola Café, a LEGOLAND Discovery Center, and this year will be opening the Verruckt – the tallest, fastest waterslide in the world – at the Schlitterbahn Waterpark!

Planet Snoopy at Worlds of Fun

Planet Snoopy offers fun for the entire family. Family rides include the Finnish Fling, Viking Voyager, and the Octopus which spins and turns guests in a circular motion. They rate their rides with thrill levels which can help parents know which rides are appropriate for their kids. Cabins, cottages and RV camping are available.

Crayola Café

While the Crayola Café is designed for kids, it’s the ideal place for parents to re-visit their childhood and release their inner artists. This eatery features bright, colorful decor and offers each guest a blank placemat to use as their personal canvas.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Kansas City’s LEGOLAND Discovery Center offers a wide variety of things to do. Visitors can take a tour of a LEGO factory, enjoy the LEGO 4D Cinema or ride the Kingdom Quest Laser or Merlin’s Apprentice ride.

Explorers will also enjoy the earthquake table, Master Builder Academy, Fire Academy and much more. You can book online and a mobile app is available to help make plans.

Schlitterbahn Waterpark

Kids love waterparks, and the Schlitterbahn Waterpark serves up plenty of wildly wet fun. Along with favorite rides like the Bahnzai Pipeline, Black Knight, and Blitz Falls, this year the park is introducing the Verruckt.

Right now it is still under construction but the monster slide already dominates the skyline of Kansas City’s Schlitterbahn. This ride is a 4-person raft ride that drops 17 stories and is then blasted back up a second hill to drop again!

Along with these attractions, Kansas City offers several other indoor attractions kids and their families will enjoy. Science City let you dig for dinosaurs, build a robot and more, and the SkyZone Trampoline Park is a great place to burn energy. Plus those looking for the waterpark experience year round can find it at Kansas City’s two indoor park: CoCo Key Water Resort and the Great Wolf Lodge.

Who knew Kansas City had that much to offer? Sounds like fun, but maybe a bit expensive if you tried to do it all! That new waterslide sounds scary!
