Tutus, tippy toes, and kid friendly choreography.

That’s what you’ll get when you sign your pint size ballerinas up for the New York City Ballet Children’s Workshop.

Held before select performances, main stage dancers will guide children through popular dance moves, simplified choreography, music and themes. This helps engage the tiny dancers in musical and dance theory and give them a kid friendly perspective on the show they’re about to see.

The bonus at the end? Classes end with a private performance for attendants and their family members.

The workshop is open to ballerinas aged 4-7 and costs $12 for each parent and child.

Visit NYC Ballet for more information or to purchase your ticket and make your promising dancers’ dreams come true.

I would have LOVED this kind of opportunity as a kid! Every child likes to move and dance in an encouraging environment.
