May 21, 2014 by

Splashtown San Antonio is a family waterpark that promises fun for the guests of all ages.

With more than 50 rides and attractions, Splashtown offers 20 acres of cool, clean water excitement just three minutes from downtown. The park is open seasonally April until September and this year celebrates its 30th anniversary.

What’s Free and What’s Not

Rafts, tubes, and parking are all free. Restrooms with shower facilities are also available. The Park doesn’t allow outside food or beverages inside the park, but they do have a shaded picnic area located right next to the front gate. However, no alcoholic beverages or drinks in glass containers are allowed.

A couple other things you’ll want to know before you arrive are that pets are not allowed in the park, and personal flotation devices are subject to park approval before they can be used. For those with little ones, swim diapers are required.
